MonkAssassin Monk
This is a fast-paced assassin Monk built around staggered engagements rather than a single burst rotation. Avoid dumping every skill at once. Instead, cycle through separate attack combinations so another offensive option is available as the previous one enters cooldown. Use Mystic Strike as your primary engagement and repositioning tool. Pair it at different points with Primary Attacks, Exploding Palm, and Seven-Sided Strike, while maintaining Shield of Zen as consistently as possible. The objective is continuous pressure: engage, strike, reposition, switch attack package, and repeat.

How the build plays
How to play it
Play like an assassin rather than a frontline bruiser. Stay mobile and look for isolated, damaged, or distracted targets. Use your mobility to enter from an unexpected angle, protect the commitment with Shield of Zen when necessary, deliver your damage quickly, and then disengage or immediately transition to another vulnerable enemy.
Rotation & priority
- There isn't a strict rotation. The basic cycle is:
- Mystic Strike → Zen → Primary
- Mystic Strike → Exploding Palm
- Mystic Strike → SSS or SSS independently
- Repeat as cooldowns become available
- Prioritize keeping Shield of Zen active, and don't burn Mystic Strike charges unnecessarily. Stagger the offensive skills rather than combining everything into one engagement.
Positioning
Work around the edges of a fight rather than sitting in its center. Flank, exploit line-of-sight, and attack from angles that force enemies to react to you. In objective PvP, you can bounce between pressure points very quickly. Avoid becoming the obvious first target of an organized enemy group.
Strengths
Excellent mobility, fast target acquisition, strong backline pressure, good chase potential, and the ability to rapidly enter and leave engagements. The build should be particularly nasty against players who have already burned their defensive cooldowns.
Weaknesses
Hard crowd control and coordinated focus fire are the big problems. Overcommitting without an escape route can turn a successful dive into a very quick death. It also depends more on choosing the right engagement than a conventional brawler build does.
Counters
Durable opponents that can survive the initial pressure and immediately counter-control you are less attractive targets. Heavy CC compositions can also punish predictable dives. The ideal prey is an exposed damage dealer or support—not necessarily whichever enemy happens to be closest.
Creator notes
This build rewards patience more than button-spamming. Its speed makes it tempting to constantly dive, but the better approach is to wait for an opening, hit decisively, and disappear. You're not trying to win a fair fight. You're trying to make sure the opponent never gets one.
